I am planning on conducting a short workshop as an 'Intro to FCP X'. 1st week of July 2012 at Evolve. Short session 4 hours. one day, maybe two.
This is for experienced editors on FCP 7 who are now wondering if they should go to Avid, or Premiere Pro, or stick to FCP 7. All are encouraged to bring their editing material to test with. I'm introducing FCP X to such people as a means to quickly edit anything shot digitally - on Canon HD-DSLRs, Sony EX1-EX3, AVCHD, P2 cameras. Anything except Film or DigiBeta, as FCP X doesn't support these workflows. Red is supported only as converted files. I have five participants who have shown willingness, I can have 3 more, and rest on wait list or for another date. Write to me if interested. Cheers.
