I sync to itunes regularly. Once in a while I also sync with iCloud. I'm syncing with itunes for now on mac. 1) I installed the game. 2) played the game, got achievements. 3) now I sync with itunes. 4) I delete the game. 5) sync 6) I install the game back. 7) Sync 8) when I load the game my progress for that game is gone. I have to start from level 1 and not level 7 where I reached.
If the data was backed then it should have returned when I install back the game.
