Hi,

You can make your own NAS, means you can buy NAS product like Thecus or
Synology or Qnap. Theses are generally available without any HDD. You can
use HDD as per your requirement. I am personally using Thecus 2 bay NAS,
which can accommodate 2 HDD, I am using single 500GB & I have same
application as yours. Me & wife using iPhone, have iPad, I am using Mac Pro
& wife using Acer laptop. My time machine works very well with Thecus, also
I have configured iTunes on Thecus so I can use with any i device for music
& wife is taking her laptop backup on this NAS. I have attached this NAS to
my Panasonic LCD network port, so I can watch all movies which are stored
on NAS. I can even make this NAS as my own cloud server, it will require
high speed net connection. At the moment I have not configured for cloud.
Over all it's good product for such use.

Regards,
Nilesh.
