Sent to you by Brent via Google Reader: New Feature In iOS 6: Create Custom Signatures For Each Email Account via App Advice by Dom Esposito on 9/20/12 Whether you’re new to iOS, or just want to pick up some useful tips and tricks, we’re here to help. This is iOS Advice. Using multiple email accounts on one iOS device can sometimes be a pain in the butt. One of the biggest caveats with multiple accounts in the Mail app, is sharing one signature between all of them. The good news is, iOS 6 permanently fixes this issue. You now have the ability to create custom email signatures for each account on your device. Reminder: This will only work on devices running iOS 6. To create customized email signatures, watch the video or follow the steps below: Step 1: Go into the Settings app on your device. Step 2: Next, scroll down to “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” and tap on it. Step 3: Under the “Mail” section towards the lower half of the screen, tap on the row labeled “Signature.” Step 4: Select the “Per Account” option from the list. There will now be multiple boxes below the list for each email account on your device. If you only have one email account, you will only be shown one signature box on this screen. Step 5: Begin entering your customized signatures by tapping on each account’s box. When you’re done with that, exit out of the Settings app. The next time you send an email (or reply) with one these accounts, the custom signature for that specific account will be used. Now that you’ve learned how to customize your email signatures, if there’s something else you’d like to see on iOS Advice, please let us know.
