Given the number of times I've been "patted down" and still gone into a football game with my ubiquitous swiss army knife in my pocket, one has to wonder how much this has to do with 'security' and 'terrorism' and how much it has to do with not sneaking a 75p bottle of diet coke in so you don't have to pay £2.50.
