Tricky one this. It is great that money is being raised for two very worthwhile charities. However, it is sad day when IMUSA is working with a group which has done so much to undermine any visible protest against the club's new owners inside the ground.
To be honest, this list has died a death since the takeover. I personally became disenchanted when it became clear that very few of us who sang we were not for sale actually meant it and most carried on like it was business as usual. If I am being honest, the only reason I have stayed on this list for the last few months is for the comments and reports of Peter Hargreaves- someone whose passion for our club shines through at all times. But IMUSA publicising a SEF event (albeit in a good cause) is the final straw. Bye folks- it has been a pleasure being part of this list. Keep the Red Flag flying high. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mark Longden To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, February 15, 2007 10:48 PM Subject: [imusa] Stretford End Flags charity fundraiser night Been asked to publicise the fundraiser below.
