If i could get all the steps to work correctly then in about 1/2-1 month i will be 
able to compile it easily. My new machine will be something like

Athlon 1.3Ghz 266FSB
512Mb SDRAM PC-133 DRR Cas2.5(or 768)
80Gb (on two drives)

Im pretty sure this type of machine could handle that compile in less than 5 hours.
