Hi, A Fedora Installfest has been planned at:
Foresight Institute of Management and Research 1170-27 Revenue Colony, ‘Saraswati Nilayam’ Off J. M. Road, Shivajinagar, Pune 411 002 on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 1000 IST onwards [1]. The following sessions have been planned: #1 About Fedora: Introduction to free/open source software, Fedora, and licensing. (30 minutes) #2 Fedora desktop: Demo of the Fedora desktop and its user interface. (30 minutes) #3 Development with Fedora: Tools and utilities available for development of free/open source software. (30 minutes) #4 Installation: Demo of installing Fedora on a virtual machine. (30 minutes) #5 Installfest: Hands-on workshop on installing Fedora on user systems/laptops and help with troubleshooting.
