Yes  Neeraj....u  are right,  The  colour of  this  snake  is  very
different.
If  Checkered  keelback's  can  be  so  dull  and  drab,  and
greenish  in  colour  in  some  regions,  then  i  m  quite  sure
that  the  pics  u took  at  Chambal  were  also  of  the  same
species.
I  will  ask  Nidhin  about  the  location  of  photography  soon.
It  seems  colour  variations  occur  in  this  species,  depending
upon  the  area  and  habitat.
