I just want to back up what Ian's saying. Global ZFS is a must - to be honest ZFS is the *only* reason I've kept Solaris on a machine at home. DTrace is cool as well, beyond that Solaris Express is frankly a second rate environment for a Free Software developer like me.
This feeds back into my other point about not just picking up Ubuntu or Debian and forcing Solaris into that model. To attract people Indiana can't just be another variant on those themes - it needs to offer more. ZFS and Dtrace will get some people in for sure, but shouldn't this community aim to do *better* in ever aspect? -- Geoff Teale <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
