Hi Aaron,

thank you very much for filing

http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=82

I have taken a look at the issue and I would like to kindly ask you,
if you could please log/provide/attach to Bug following additional
information:

[1] Output of Solaris fdisk command (fdisk partition table configuration)
$ pfexec fdisk -W - /dev/rdsk/<disk_name>p0

 From bug report it seems that for your case c7d0p0 should work,
but please verify by running format command which provides you with
list of available disks.

[2] Content of /tmp/install_log and /tmp/install_log.debug files. They are
created when debug verbosity level is increased by following commands:

$ export LS_DBG_LVL=5
$ export LS_LOG_LVL=5
$ pfexec gui-install                   <---- launches installer from
command line

[3] More information about when the installer exactly crashes:
 * 3 secs right after you launched it by clicking desktop icon ?
 * or did you go through some screens before it crashed ?
    If so, did you reach "Disk" screen ?
    If so, what was the partition configuration installer reported
    in "Disk" screen ?

Thank you very much,
Jan
