If not I will create one. (I am paying particular attention to usability enhancements as a graphical desktop.)
1) I think that we should follow the path of separate Server and Desktop isos (Allows the desktop installer to completely free itself from any server artifacts.) 2) There is text mode installer bits at the beginning we should avoid that. (for desktop) 3) Timezone selection needs to be optimized. ((too many choices) 4) The installer currently doesn't talk to you while the bits are copying. 5) The install seems to have a high IOP/megabyte ratio. (Only measurable running in a VM) 6) Quit Help and Reboot are really slow to respond at the end of the install. Maybe some options should be greyed out? -- - Brian Gupta http://opensolaris.org/os/project/nycosug/ _______________________________________________ indiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss
