I think maybe you misunderstood.  I'm not speaking to the value of anything.  I 
don't care if you work together or not, and I don't care if there are multiple 
IPS GUIs or not.  

My point was just to explain why two redundant products could exist.  Why 
people would knowingly produce redundant work.  (And that is because sometimes 
people just want to take different paths to the same destination.  ...which is 
perfectly natural given the variety of people who make up the human race!)
