I did a pkg image-update of a system from 2008.05 to current (snv90), and that
seemed to work properly. It correctly created a new BE and put snv90 on it,
etc. However, when I boot that BE, it crashes with the message that /ramdisk:a
is not bootable. The first message that I can see (ie left on the display) is

spa_import_rootpool: error 22

Digging around a little it appears that it's trying to mount root (it's in
rootconf/vfs_mountroot/main).

The config is unorthodox: it's a VirtualBox 1.6.2 guest with 2GB memory. The
host, which theoretically does not matter, is snv79a running on an Ultra40 with
plenty of memory.

Anyone got suggestions as to how to debug this further?
