I had the same problem: nvidia: NOTICE NVRM: failed to copy vbios to system memory nvidia: NOTICE NVRM: RmInitAdapterFailed! (0x30:0xffffffff:892) nvidia: NOTICE NVRM: nv_open: rm_init_adapter(0) failed
I sent mail off to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (thanks for the pointer, Alan Coopersmith!). I got the following response from John Martin: "Fixed in driver 173.14.09 available at http://solaris-x86.eng/nVIDIA. This will go into b93." My next step was to try to figure out how to put this in my b91 IPS and spin up my own distro, but I've got no clue right now. Hope this helps!
