Hi, first, thanks Willie for the information you provided.
Now, what I would like to know is if the whole live CD will be usable to the
blind when you get Orca working with the installer? I also need to know how
good this operating system is at finding wireless network cards? It must have
found mine, because my daughter said it asked if I wanted to configure a
network it found when the CD booted. I use ubuntu, and like that operating
system. But one major problem I have with it is that it never seems to work
with any of the wireless cards I have.
The last thing I would like to know is if the operating system update
program will be accessible with Orca and if there is a menu for adding and
removing programs like we have in ubuntu? The add remove programs feature in
Ubuntu does work with Orca, and has helped many blind people.
By the way, I am not trying to promote Ubuntu here, I was just trying to point
out the things I need to know about.
Thanks for any info, Mike.
