Bugs 1254 and 1261 address preventing removal of certain packages -- though they only address Python and IPS itself, respectively. Feel free to file a more generic bug for this ability or start a discussion about it on pkg-discuss. As for the slim_cd package, see bug 1617, "My hard drive isn't a CD, so why is slim_cd on there?". >> and additionally, your >> minimisation attempts will be thwarted by your next upgrade. However, normally a system that has had packages removed will get them all reinstalled on the next image-update due to how the packages are currently set up. -- Shawn Walker _______________________________________________ indiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss
