Does anyone else have a large installation of sun4m architecture
machines it would be nice to run something other than Linux/NetBSD on?

SS20, SS5, SS10, various server 4m machines.

How about the old 1000's and 2000 4d archs?

Or is Sun strongly opposed to admitting 32bit SPARC exists/existed? I
noticed they torpedo'd Solaris9 support a while back by forcing S9
patches to only work on 64 bit systems even though the original S9
updates supported 4m just fine.

32bit x86 is OK, any reason why 32bit SPARC isn't other than just 'cuz?

4m's make decent single task server boxes for services just like small
x86 boxes.

For those clamoring for 4u and 4v support, what is wrong with the
support in Solaris10 or SXCE? I would think OpenSolaris would be more
useful for targeting older 4m/4d/4u architectures like Linux and NetBSD
do.
