  There will probably be updates to some of the non-OS products, like
  NetBeans or OpenOffice.  If there's a super-critical bug fix, we might
  distribute this by updating release/.

  For 2008.11, the two will have identical content for the selected
  build.  As we start to include debug content, etc., we might see
  release/ be only a proper subset of dev/, but identical for that
  content which is shared.
