Hi @all,

I tried the 2008.11 sneak peak iso image from Oct 30th and was wondering
what happened to the good old tcsh? Seems to be absent in the basic
install :-) But installation by hand worked fine.

More troubling seem to be issue with glib object system: While using
e.g. the network-admin gui I get:

 (network-admin:978): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gobject.c: line
2366: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

** (network-admin:978): CRITICAL **: file gst-report-line.c: line 196:
assertion `major != GST_MAJOR_INVALID' failed
Segmentation fault

sometimes this leads to an segmentation fault :-/ Sadly enough not
really reproducable. Can anybody confirm this issue? I can try to get a
backtrace if needed :-)

Beside these minor issue everything looks great and until know the
installation on a X4100 was not big deal!

Cheers,

-Thijs
