Hi Gerard The only time I've seen something like this is when the network isn't working. I understand that it was working when you upgraded but make sure that it's working since the reboot from that upgrade. You may want to try restarting nwam (if you're using nwam). It almost looks like there's something not quite right with the name service, what's in your /etc/nsswitch.conf file?
