It means the bug was filed, and nothing yet that would progress it
to another state (accepted, cause known, fix in progress, etc.) has
happened since then.

Not if it's still in dispatched. Of course, since you have access
to the Sun internal network, you can get more up-to-date status
and more complete info from a site like monaco.sfbay that queries
the live bug database, while bugs.opensolaris.org is only updated
once a day from the internal copy, and has much of the information
in the internal db stripped out. The internal information will
include the e-mail addresses of the responsible manager and engineer
you could query if you needed more info.
