Check whether /etc/printers.conf contains any configured printers? I
suspect during upgrade /etc/printers.conf has been overwritten by the LP
packages since thta is the default.
You can try to run /usr/sbin/print-service -s cups to reset back I do
hope that CUPS has saved a copy of the files in /etc/cups.
