Yes, I figured as much.
But this means that you can't run open solaris with networking turned
off or (through some strange occurence) disabled. That's a very bad
single point of failure.
Just enable physical and move /etc/hostname.* out of the way?
although that does seem like the old-fashioned way to do it :)
