Hello OpenSolaris,
and thank you for the Sun Microsystems Free CD Program's OpenSolaris 2008.11,
ordered 4/23/09 and received today, 4/27/09.
However, I am having a bit of a problem installing/booting into it. When any
of the four bootings options are selected,
after 25 dots across the top of the screen;
the CD player, the screen and the computer
just stop, wait, and don't do anything.
The computer's using Microsoft Windows XP Professional (version 5.1.2600) with
an Intel(R) Celeron(R) M processor 1.50GHz (Version: x86 Family 6 Model 13
Stepping 8), and has Memory (RAM) Capacity: 256 MB.
The hard drive is multipartitioned, and has about 6.8 GB reserved for
OpenSolaris.
