Comments welcome - I may have overlooked it. I'll be working to
finalize this during the week and then get posted on opensolaris.com.
Here's a stab at it...

To this:
Contributing Software to OpenSolaris
Don't see your favorite open source application? Have you always
wanted
to do a little programming that helps others? Well, now's your chance!
The OpenSolaris SourceJuicer enables you to submit spec file build
recipes
that make it easy to port open source software to the OpenSolaris
contrib
package repository that everyone can access. Checkout the SourceJuicer
contribution process and join the Software Porters Community and
become
a fellow Juicer!
Okay, I've made that change now, along with adding Stephen's
suggestion of p5i file links to package installs and repositories.
Note. The live pending repo is just a temporary place for developers
to
review and access pkgs for testing prior to promotion to the contrib
repo.
The contrib repo is for users and should be highlighted. The pending
repo should not at this level of communication. We may need to do some
re-education. The pending repo is not meant to be a place where users
can get packages (ie. they disappear after promotion or when they get
orphaned).
Okay, I'm fine with that. I've removed pending/ from the doc now.
