Hi

since recently I can not execute phyton programs anymore ,e.g.

Hitting the button Preference in the tab "Visual Effects" of in the appearance dialog for the desktop leads to the error message:

xtrn...@t61p:~$ gnome-appearance-properties
Traceback (most recent call last):
 File "/usr/bin/ccsm", line 25, in ?
   import gtk
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/vendor-packages/gtk-2.0/gtk/__init__.py", line 38, in ?
   import gobject as _gobject
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/vendor-packages/gtk-2.0/gobject/__init__.py", line 33, in ? from glib import spawn_async, idle_add, timeout_add, timeout_add_seconds, \ File "/usr/lib/python2.4/vendor-packages/gtk-2.0/glib/__init__.py", line 30, in ?
   from glib._glib import *
ImportError: No module named _glib
xtrn...@t61p:~$

And a pkg search resuts in

xtrn...@t61p:~$ pkg search "*_glib*"
Traceback (most recent call last):
 File "/usr/bin/pkg", line 61, in ?
   import pkg.actions as actions
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/vendor-packages/pkg/actions/__init__.py", line 144, in ?
   from _actions import _fromstr
ImportError: No module named _actions

I' m no python expert so I don't know where to look for the error ... These programs worked as expected before and I'm pretty sure that I did not change anything phyton related (at least nothing I'm aware off) ...

I'm using OpenSolaris

xtrn...@t61p:~$ uname -a
SunOS t61p 5.11 snv_111 i86pc i386 i86pc

xtrn...@t61p:~$ cat /etc/release
                        OpenSolaris 2009.06 snv_111 X86

                            Assembled 27 March 2009

on a Thinkpad T61p in 64-bit mode.
