I have a PS2 keyboard & mouse connected through a USB Y connector.
It seems to work through GRUB and the login screen. But once I login, neither
the keyboard nor the mouse responds. USB only keyboard mouses work. How can I
fix this?

I have Indiana, b101. Not sure if this problem is Indiana specific, I haven't
tried this setup before.

Do I have to add something to xorg.conf? What?

I recall something slightly similar a while back, probably too long back for me to reliably recall exactly what the situation was.

I think the issue was that the BIOS was configured to emulate legacy PS/2 mouse/keyboard, which it did some way into the system booting, but at some point that stops working and the system basically loses its emulated legacy PS/2 mouse/keyboard at that point. Turning off that emulation in the BIOS made Solaris see the USB mouse/keyboard right from the start, and then it worked fine. Just a guess from the dim and distant past though.
