I had a similar problem. I believe the tracker database is somewhere under ${HOME}/.local
I was having many other issues too, so I ended up taking an "rm -rf" sledgehammer to all GNOME-related config. Fixed the tracker problem for me. :-)

Tracker complains about a corrupted index on b117. Where is this index stored (can it be deleted). Can this daemon be run from the command line? Or am I to start it only from the gui?
