I just discovered the SUNWntfsprogs package that is installed on my system, and it looks very useful. But... there is a manpage for ntfsmount, yet that program is not included. Is that by design? Should I open a bug to get it added as well?

Hi Mark,

this worked for me pretty flawlessly until I image-updated
to 117 yesterday. I figured I'd need to update the packages
and ntfs3g while at it, and it seems to work now.

I followed this guide:
  http://forums.opensolaris.com/thread.jspa?messageID=1688
and except for newer version of ntfs3g
  http://ntfs-3g.org/ntfs-3g-2009.4.4.tgz
and some trouble with 'install -c' vs. ginstall, there's
not much to update.

I have not tried it yet, but will in the very near future.

The instructions seem to be very thorough. Thanks a whole bunch!

I should warn you that fuse on solaris is still not quite ready for
prime-time. There are bugs which can hang or crash your kernel. If
you're willing to take that risk then we'd be delighted to receive your
bug reports :)
