You're quit right about this one. I used the SVR4 package for a while
but switched back to versio 2.2.4 because of all kinds of weird
behaviour of vbox3. It takes over or confuses i.e. the network card of
the host. Because of this a normal connection is no longer possible if
I've run a xVM (windows XP). Also it happened that while booting the
vbox ethernet card was rejected by the kernel. I have no idea why and
how. I just reversed to v2.2.4 and now all's well.

I'm not willing to try the OpenSolaris version 3.0, because I'm not
sure these errors have been delt with in the osol package.
