I'm running b118 (b117) as a guest in VirtualBox 3.0.2 with the guest
additions installed, and noticed that the CPU usage output by prstat
and top are rather inconsistent.
On an "idle" GNOME session I see:
load averages: 0.09, 0.14, 0.22; up 0+00:20:50
10:58:45
102 processes: 101 sleeping, 1 on cpu
CPU states: 90.2% idle, 4.8% user, 5.0% kernel, 0.0% iowait, 0.0%
swap
Kernel: 478 ctxsw, 29 trap, 631 intr, 1347 syscall, 10 flt
Memory: 768M phys mem, 62M free mem, 512M total swap, 512M free swap

Is this a bug in OpenSolaris or Virtualbox, or both? I saw this in
b117 as well.
Cheers,
Chris
