Mem:1024 ram and just went with the default 16GB dynamic disk.

It appears I made a silly mistake at the iso download site.

I downloaded the complete wrong distro from what I thought I was
getting:
I grabbed osol-1002-118-x86.iso... Just noticed the 118 and my brain
went on leave. When It gets to the non-responsive screen it says
its:
ScreenShot shows the grub prompt:
Then the inactive screen shows:
SunOS release 5.11 version snv_118 32bit
I thought it was 2009.6 build 118.
So while it still may be some bug or other problem... its not the
distro I was after.... now downloading osol-0906-x86.iso, and I guess
upgrade from there to get to build 118.
Maybe there are no iso files of the builds since release of 2009.6.
Anyway I don't see them at that site.
