OpenSolaris did release it. They probably fixed the issue SXCE-b118 had. At least I hope ;-) The reason I ask is that for two nights in a row now my internal network has gone mad. To blame is osol.b118. It goes "mad" and makes the lights of my router flikker 1000% and also between itself and the dns server (arwen/s10u7). It makes that server so busy that it hardly can't handle anything anymore. The moment I pull the plug (from the B118 machine) things go back to normal. I changed two things network related in the past few days: [1] I installed VirtualBox-3.0.2 which is known to have some kind of network problems. [2] I created a new ZFS filesystem with SHARENFS set (nfs is network related ... in a far fetched way) I can't figure out why one of these two would make these things happen or what exactly happens. I only know it started after I installed these two things. Tonight I deinstalled vbox-3.0.2 packages and unmounted the "sharenfs" file system. We'll see if things go back to normal so I can let the machine on 24/7 Maybe someone has an idea on the causes. I don't. -- Dick Hoogendijk -- PGP/GnuPG key: 01D2433D + http://nagual.nl/ | SunOS 10u7 05/09 | OpenSolaris 2010.02 B118 + All that's really worth doing is what we do for others (Lewis Carrol) _______________________________________________ indiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss
