You didn't catch my problem. I have a liveUSB which is based on snv_117, and the sysytem is bfu'ed to snv121. When the system is broken and failed to boot, I want to import the rpool to fix some problems. The snv_117 based liveUSB doesn't work, because the ZFS on the system is newer than it in the liveUSB, and the import will fail due to incompatible zfs version. Hope this is clear.
