Yes, sure. I know by now. There are some disadvantages though:
[1] Running a GUI I'd like to choose the way I reboot through the GUI
(and not in a window)
[2] Reboot n is sticky. I don't like that. I'd like my default boot
option to be known (also the next day)

It seems to me this new fast-boot takes away options from the user and
therefore never should be the default. I know by now how to revers that
and I will. Thanks to everyone who replied to my remarks/questions.
