Vladmir:
When you say your system does not boot, what happen. If you have a
digital camera, can you get a snapshot of what happen on the screen ?
If you have a swing bar coming back and forth, you can hit esc and then
you can see why the system does not boot.
You can also boot kmdb to get more information if it is a hang:
On x86, in the GRUB item, type "e" (for edit) and
then another "e" and then add "-k -d " to the end of the kernel line
Finally, press return to boot this entry.
This will cause the kernel debugger to load
Loading kmdb...
Welcome to kmdb
kmdb: unable to determine terminal type: assuming `vt100'

At the prompt, enter "moddebug/W 0x80000000", <return> and then ":c",
<return> which will then print out each module as it's being loaded.

Hello. sorry if it's wrong thread, but I do ask.
I've installed O-Solaris 2009.06 (vmware) from LiveCD and everything worked
fine. But then I had to expand my zfs partition and tried to install
gparted. To get gparted i tried to update my current release (111) to 126
(from pkg.opensolaris.org/dev). After downloading ~740 mb and "succesfull"
install, i rebooted OS and 126 release don't want to boot...habe no idea
what's wrong....
111 release boots up flowlessly....
P.S. Sorry for my english
