And the government also informed the AMU of the land selected. But later, the government took a u-turn and said that the land was of the industries department and that it has already been handed over to InKel for setting up a Technical Education Hub. The Minister disclosed the fact in the Assembly while answering a question asked by Abdurahman Randathani and VK Ibrahim Kunhu, Muslim League MLAs. The minister said that the government was planning to set up a Technical Education Hub in 50 acres within five years and a multi-service park in 200 acres within 10 years in the land. He added that the land has not yet been transferred to any agency for the purpose. The government has selected 400 acres of land at Perinthalmanna for the campus. But acquisition of land has not yet begun.
