Hi,
It appears to be Pterospermum accerifolium, also known as Kanak Champa,
Dinner Plate Tree.
I am not clear whether suberifolium is the same as accerifolium-may be the
experts can throw light on that.
Where was this flowering? Is it Maharashtra?
The flowers have a fantastic fragrance. And it is a spectacular sight to see
and incredible perfume-very subtle but enveloping.
This is the time that it flowers in Delhi.
