There already are two more almonds;
1) Prunus Dulcis or the 'Almond', sold in shops as proper badam. It is
native to middle east.
2) Terminalia Catapa or the Indian Almond or Tropical Almond, native
to malaya. Its quite common in Mumbai but not in the north.

Even the wild alomnd is quite common in Mumbai.

I think to differentiale from the other two, this one must be called
the wild almond. No other reason.
I've also noticed that people have a tendency to term a tree/plant
'Wild or Jungli', if they lack much information about it and it is not
used commercially.
