Yes, they do not match, that was the whole point. The foliage I sent was of 
Sterculia urens. It had been suggested that your tree was S. urens, and it is 
not. Your tree is, without a doubt, Sterculia villosa.

I have Sterculia urens growing, flowering and fruiting here, and the foliage is 
not lobed like the one photographed. I believe it is S. villosa, as the linked 
illustration matches with the bifurcate apex of the lobed foliage, a singular 
characteristic.
