Sibdas ji, I surfed and searched Crinium ... it appears to be some kind of
blunder carried with times ... most of the cases used as a common name ...
in rare cases, some nurseries use it erroneously instead of *Crinum*.
The dictionaries do not have any meaning for it.
Only one instance in medical dictionary: *fragilitas crinium* ... a
brittleness of the hair.

Reminds me of *bellirica* vs *bellerica*, read at
