Good morning Sir All eight species of *Chenopodium*, described in the Flora of British India, do have either sinuate or lobed or toothed leaf-margins. Only upper leaves of *C. album* can be entire.
There is a species, *C. polyspermum* L., which i think may be similar to your plant. But, don't know if this plant can be found in India, that too in the wild. However, two Indian botanists are there, in http://www.newcrops.uq.edu.au/listing/species_pages_C/Chenopodium_polyspermum.htm . However, links are :- - http://www.discoverlife.org/mp/20q?search=Chenopodium+polyspermum (please, note mucronate tips) - http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=1&taxon_id=242415415 - http://www.biolib.cz/cz/taxonimages/id38677/?type=1 - http://www.luopioistenkasvisto.fi/Sivut/Kasvilajit/Hentosavikka.html Regards, surajit On Thu, Feb 21, 2013 at 10:44 AM, J.M.
