Good morning Sir, This seems to me *Kallstroemia pubescens* (G.Don) Dandy.
Last year Datla Sir (Dr. D. C. S. Raju) asked me (for my use) to find a copy of "Flora of Howrah District" by S. S. R. Bennet. I tried hard to find a copy in bookstores + online stores, but failed. This plant has been reported in the above book - http://www.indianforester.co.in/index.php/indianforester/article/view/25496. Thank you, Regards, surajit On Sat, May 25, 2013 at 9:24 AM, Nidhan Singh <nidhansingh...@gmail.com>wrote: > A beautiful find..hope to get id soon, to me this does not look like *Tribulus > terrestris*...hope, if you can find the fruits.. > > > On Sat, May 25, 2013 at 12:38 AM, surajit koley < > surajitnotavaila...@gmail.com> wrote: > >> Searched a lot, but :(( >> A prostrate-erect herb found beside railway tracks. >> * >> * >> *Tribulus terrestris* L. ??? >> >> Looks more like - http://www.virboga.de/Kallstroemia_pubescens.htm >> >> somewhat similar - >> http://www.plantsystematics.org/cgi-bin/dol/dol_terminal.pl?taxon_name=Kallstroemia&rank=genus >> or >> http://chalk.richmond.edu/flora-kaxil-kiuic/k/kallstroemia_maxima.html >> >> But, in India ??? >> >> some other ??? >> >> -- >> You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups >> "efloraofindia" group. >> To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an >> email to indiantreepix+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. >> To post to this group, send email to indiantreepix@googlegroups.com. >> Visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/indiantreepix?hl=en. >> For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/groups/opt_out. >> >> >> > > > > -- > Regards, > > Dr. Nidhan Singh > Assistant Professor > Department of Botany > I.B.
