Good morning No.1. Did i ever claim that *Araucaria* grows wild in India? No.2. Is there any rule that plants introduced by the British or other Nationals can't be wild?
In the link http://waynesword.palomar.edu/ecoph27.htm identifying characters, based on bark, leaves..... can be found on different *Araucaria*. The leaves of my post https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en&fromgroups#!topic/indiantreepix/Yf0uOtoFmeA look like that of *A. heterophylla* and FoC features the plant - http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=102440. But the problem is many fold - none of the sites gives graphical detail on leaves of *A. columnaris*, we do not have details on difference between the two, I have been watching my trees regularly but the bark of these trees yet to exfoliate, an identifying character in http://waynesword.palomar.edu/ecoph27.htm. Thank you Have a nice day.... On Sat, Dec 14, 2013 at 8:23 PM, Pankaj Kumar <[email protected]>wrote: > There is no Araucaria found in wild in India.
