Thanks Santhosh ji for the lead. Going through efi, I found a mail where Vijayasankara ji had identified similar flowers as Turnera aurantiaca<https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/indiantreepix/EsY1WlaeCOY>
This could be the same Turnera aurantiaca. Hopefully Vijayasankara ji validates the ID...
