Dear Sir,
My specimen is *Solanum* *torvum* Sw. (synonym
<http://www.theplantlist.org/about/#synonym> of *Solanum* *rudepannum* Dunal
<http://www.theplantlist.org/tpl/record/tro-29603061>) and it is wild and
available here. The fruit of this plant is edible and taken as vegetable.
In Assamese it is known as Borbhekuri.
