Thank you Dr Singh. We ate it and it was quite delicious. I was suspecting it to be of the watercress family but I may be wrong.
If I am not mistaken it's called Chunali in the local dialect. My friend here says that it bears white flowers. May be Dr Chauhan or Anil Thakur ji know what that is.
