Many Eulophia are used as salep infact in Himalayas they used Eulophia
dabia as salep and because of that the plant almost went extinct untill i
found a small population spread in sandy river floor in the Shivaliks in
Rajaji National Park in 2010. I didnt publish it because people will know
and they will really make it extinct.
My friend Jeewan has seen Eulophia spectabilis corms on sale in Maharastra
in some places. They all use it for medicine.
