Dear Sir,
There are two Genera under Primulaceae namely Bonellia and Jacquinia (both
formerly under Theophrastaceae). In Flowers of India, there is one species
Jacquinia macrocarpa (
http://www.flowersofindia.net/catalog/slides/Jacquinia.html), but the
berries are with blunt tip (not pointed as in this figure). In encyclopedia
of life, Jacquinia racemosa's type is placed under Bonellia macrocarpa (
http://eol.org/pages/5508526/details). But in the plant list under Bonellia
macrocarpa, Jacquinia macrocarpa is treated as synonym but J. racemosa is
treated as accepted name.

You may need to check: B. Ståhl and M. Källersjö (2004) . Reinstatement of
Bonellia (Theophrastaceae). Novon 14(1): 115-118.
and Ståhl, B. 1995. A synopsis of *Jacquinia* (Theophrastaceae) in the
Antilles and South America. Nordic J. Bot. 15: 493-511.

Hope this will help you in identifying the species!!!

regards.
